Equity Showcase Theatre Professional Development Program: EST
is proud to present one of the finest faculties in Canada for the
professional development of Canadian Artists. In 2010, Equity Showcase
is proudly celebrate its 50th Anniversary in offering artists
professional development through training and performance
opportunities. EST offers a variety of training opportunities delivered
to you though a variety of artistic vehicles including The
International Guest Artists Series, Master Classes with highly regarded
artists, The Unique Artist Project, The Classical Theatre Lab,
Technique Workshops for the maintenance and development of your
instrument and our Partnership Projects. We are in the midst of our
Winter Session and there are still lots to choose from. We have
exciting new classes already posted for our Spring session and have
begun accepting registrations. All details continue to be announced
through our Weekly Email Newsletter so make sure you are signed up to

Theatre Training Program (PTTP), a granting program with annual
deadlines of March 1st and October 1st, for individuals who have been
out of school for two years and are looking to train in an area of

Shaw Festival offer the Director's
Project (made possible by the the generosity of SunLife Financial) each
year, which gives two directors the opportunity to work at the Shaw for
a season, assisting on two shows and directing their own piece for
presentation on the Director's Day for an audience of artistic
