PETITION TO SAVE THE VANCOUVER PLAYHOUSE --------------------------------------------- A petition to save the Vancouver Playhouse theatre has been created. The petition states that that culture in Vancouver and in Canada is not expendable and that every measure should be taken to save the institution.
The collected signatures will be sent to the following politicians and individuals: Ida Chong - Minister of Community, Sport & Cultural Development BC, Gregor Robertson - Vancouver City Mayor, City of Vancouver Cultural Services, James Moore - Heritage Minister, Jeff Schulz - Chair of the Playhouse Board of Governors.
